You have to get pizza when you go to Alta. Instead of going for the usual tomato base, switch it up and get the white pizza. I got the Bianca and add some Burrata. Simple but perfect thanks to the thin crust, crunch factor, mix of cheeses, and the hint of heat. Of the anti-pasta/appetizer options, the octopus is amazing. It has a charred taste balanced out by the subtle sweetness of the white beans, with a kick from the pickled Fresno. Before all that get a drink. I suggest looking at the fancier cocktails off the happy hour menu. I tried the Five finger death punch - use your imagination. For dessert lovers the Tiraffogato is a dream - think tiramisu meets affogato.
